ENGREFER was founded on November 15th, 1992, starting its activities in the area of projects consulting and as a representative of tools for gear cuttings.

In 2001, we got a partnership with Ott-Jakob Company , a manufacturer of clamping systems for CNC machines.

In that same year we started building our plant in Sorocaba to manufacture the cutting tools for cone gears.

On June 2002, after finishing the building of our factory, the Company had its name changed to Fabherco do Brasil and the “Division Engrefer” was created, being responsible for the Companies we represented.

In 2003, we began to represent other German companies:
Christian Bauer, a manufacturer of disc springs;
Jakob, a manufacturer of couplings in general;

On June 2004, Engrefer becomes the only responsible for the companies : Ott-Jakob, Christian Bauer and Jakob, keeping the same technical team.

On 2006 we began the representation of the companies Colombo Filippetti SPA, manufacturers of positioning tables, index drives and automatic tool changers.

Our objective is to provide high quality services and products in order to assure to our customers the best solutions, with the best deadlines and technical assistance , making up successful partnerships.
